Kbal Spean, Kulen Mountain, Cambodia 2023 Along and in the Kbal Spean are 11th and 12th century Hindu carvings of lingas, yonis and the mythic divinities from their cosmic stories of creation and renewal. It was believed as the flowing river washed over these carvings, the water became charged with positive energy and fertility. As the water traveled off the mountain to the communities below, it nourished the people living there both physically and spiritually.
